When our head trainers, Ramona Duval and her husband, Christophe, first met on the International Show Jumping circuit, the pair began a very small business together training young riders. After their marriage, Ramona and Christophe bought a modest plot of desert land out in rural Lucky Palms, which came complete with a rundown barn and farmhouse - a daunting task for two newlyweds for sure.
After restoring the house and fixing up the barn, over the years Runamok Ranch slowly began to expand, and as horses came rolling in to be trained, sold, or bred, the Ranch started to make a name for itself. Recently, Runamok started importing bloodlines from Champs Les Sims, France, where Christophe's family as been breeding Percherons for countless generations, and began to focus on breeding quality Percheron crosses for sale and various sporting events.
While still offering Dutch Warmbloods for breeding and sale, Runamok has many other breeds of horses that they both train and show, many of them leaving the Ranch and moving on to become champions of various sporting competitions.
